Ready for some advertising goodies I bet you never knew?
- If your child’s first words are “Coca-Cola”, don’t be surprised! The Coca-Cola logo is the most marketable brand worldwide.
- A better looking shopping cart reduces the risk of it being abandoned.
- The reason there’s always 3 different sizes of cereal that only have a 2 oz. difference is so they can create a “banner effect” across the shelf.
- Milk and eggs are at the back of the grocery store so hopefully you end up buying a ton of stuff on your long voyage.
- Commercials for big beer companies always advertise to drink them ice cold so it dampens the taste of poorly flavored beer. Don’t like warm beer? Of course not, you’ve probably been drinking garbage. Try a real beer.
- Ever see a man in a cleaning product commercial? Me either. What, only women can clean? How rude.
- Think you’re doing a good think by donating to charities? Think again. Some charities can keep 20 to 90 cents for every dollar earned. So donate wisely!
- Costs for the 2011 Superbowl commercial costs will be about $3 million dollars for a 30 second spot!
- Waiting in line for coffee? Red light? Taxi? Think about this: people spend an average of 45 minutes every day waiting for something.
- Thanks to 800 million Facebook users, Facebook is bringing home about $3,800,000,000 dollars in advertising revenue alone in 2011! Hope they don’t spend it on some fancy record player.
Cheers!
